The best restaurants to add some romance to your Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is now upon us and it is predicted that 66% of Brits will mark the occasion by dining out with that special someone. With many of London’s food and drink hotspots set to be brimming with love come Thursday night, here at Inspirational London we have provided a rundown of the best places to enjoy Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Searcys at the Gherkin
One of London’s most iconic landmarks, Searcys at the Gherkin takes romance to new heights. Overlooking the bright lights of the capital, the eatery’s Helix Restaurant and Iris Bar will feature a wonderful choice of food and drink.
From romantic sharing platters, to Valentine’s Day themed cocktails, live music will also be taking place with guests able to choose from a variety of private dining rooms amongst the clouds. Delicious Searcys Champagne and handmade chocolate from renowned chocolatier William Curley are also on offer.
Manifesto
If you are a singleton this Valentine’s Day then don’t worry, you haven’t been forgotten! Popular pizza restaurant Manifesto on Northcote Road are putting on a night dedicated to the single life.
There will be no red roses or heart shaped decorations here, instead a special menu will be provided where diners can choose from a range of delicious pizzas and selection of wines. As well as this every guest will be able to enjoy a sumptuous homemade negroni on the house.
Galvin La Chapelle
Located in Spitalfields Market this Michelin star French eatery is a well-known romantic setting and this Valentine’s Day they’ll be pulling out all the stops. Voted as one of London’s most romantic restaurants, the team at Galvin La Chapelle have put together a three-course menu that gives diners an experience like no other.
As well as enjoying the highest level of French cuisine, guests will also receive Champagne and canapes on arrival and handmade chocolate and macaroons.
100 Wardour Street
At 100 Wardour Street live music will be combined with great food getting Valentine’s Day off to the best possible start.
With a variety of meat and fish dishes, as well as vegan and vegetarian options, there really is something for everyone and the restaurant has also created a new drinks menu specifically for the day.
Osteria in the Barbican
One of London’s most popular Italian restaurants, Osteria in the Barbican has put together a Valentine’s Day menu that can be enjoyed by everyone no matter their tastes. Main courses include seared pigeon breast with butter beans, grilled onions and dark chocolate sauce, a pan filled fillet of cod with clams and lobster cream and a vegetarian option of rigatoni oyster mushrooms and tarragon. The restaurant has also created a wonderful lemon and prosecco sorbet and variety of canapes for couples to enjoy.
