The restaurant was first conceived and launched by Sir David Tang, founder of China Clubs in Hong Kong, Peking and Singapore, and Shanghai Tang, the first international luxury brand to emerge from China. The founder was closely involved in creating the opulent interior and hand-picked the collection of traditional and contemporary Chinese art on display.
Evoking a sense of 1930s Shanghai art deco, the exquisite bar serves a variety of classic cocktails made by the highly skilled bartenders, many of which perfectly accompany the Dim Sum menu. Every Tuesday night, sensational duo Kitty La Roar and Nick of Time transport guests back to the jazz era.
