Whisky lovers rejoice!
On Wednesday 27 September, the founding house of Japanese whisky, The House of Suntory, is launching its fantastic limited-edition Yamazaki Mizunara 2017 Edition whisky – and you are invited to their exclusive tasting evening.
The quirky Park Village Studio (NW1) is providing the backdrop for this event which is hosted by brand ambassador and drinks specialist Zoran Peric who has worked with Suntory for nine years.
The event comprises two 1.5-hour sessions, the first one runs from 5.30-7pm and the second from 8.30-10pm. As well as the Yamazaki Mizunara taking centre stage on the night, guests can also expect to enjoy a journey through House of Suntory’s finest blends including their Yamazaki 12 Years Old and Hakushu 12 years Old as well as a masterclass on the ‘art of Mizunara’.
What warrants the price tag on this whisky though?
The latest offering from the renowned whisky brand is available to purchase from selected retailers on 3 October and has an RRP of £1000. A small price to pay for a uniquely Japanese whisky.
The Yamazaki Mizunara 2017 Edition whisky is the perfect blend of single malt whiskies which have aged in Mizunara casks for a minimum of 18 years. The result? A peerless liquid with just the right amount of spice.
